The International Refugee Poetry Network was formed in 2019. Current member organisations include Transpoesis (Switzerland, Rwanda) and the Refugee Poetry Project (University of Lincoln, UK). IRPN's mission is to work with poets, writers, artists, academics, teachers, educational institutions, and cultural organisations to give a voice to refugees all over the world and the chance to tell their stories to an international audience. IRPN runs poetry workshops in refugee camps, organises literary festivals and reading tours, initiates fundraising events, and provides support to local and communal writing groups, among many other activities. Please contact us if you would like to support our work.
